about

The unlikely partnership between grammy-nominated singer-song writer Peter Smith and electronica-artist Ganga started out in Berlin. This little gem which was written and recorded during an extremely creative 12-hour session in Berlin Tempelhof Airport DJ Studios from 8 pm - 8 am. This is a truly heartfelt song about missing and wanting!

lyrics

I´m not too big
I´m not to big to admit that
I should have gotten that wakeup call
But there was no help at all

I should have known
I should have known it would end like this
Nursing an exit wound from a nearfatal mistake

Why then why should I
wait as days go by
Wont somebody show me
how to keep from wanting
when your love is gone and there´s nothing you can do

Wont somebody tell me
how to keep from crying
cause no one could ever take the place of you

Don´t wanna stay
Don´t wanna stay or gonna on like like this
Sweeping up memories wiping up tears from my heart
Should I believe
Should I believe what I had in mind
All that I wanted was somebody exactly like you

Why the why should I
wait as days go by
Wont somebody show me
how to keep from wanting
when your love is gone and there´s nothing you can do

Wont somebody show me
how to keep from wanting
when your love is gone and there´s nothing you can do
Wont somebody tell me
how to keep from crying
cause no one could ever take the place of you

Wont somebody tell me
how to keep from crying
cause no one could ever take the place of you

cause no one could ever take the place of you
